About Me
Hey! My name’s Chris, and I’m the creator of Chordi.
I live in Warsaw, Poland, and work as a QA Engineer in IT, but music has always been a big part of my life. I studied Acoustic Engineering and spent years playing bass in several bands before stepping away for a while. More recently, I picked up the ukulele and started playing again, but this time, I felt a stronger need to be more self-sufficient in songwriting.
As a kid, I played keys but never became truly proficient. Over the years, I developed an understanding of chords, but building my own progressions and songs always felt like a challenge. When I started looking for tools to help, I found most of them too complex and overwhelming (or pricey, or unavailable...), so even not being pro developer, I decided to try building something myself.
Chordi is my way of making harmony exploration simple and intuitive, without need for advanced piano skills or deep music theory knowledge. It’s all about experimenting and learning, maybe even finding your own flow? Personally I never felt it building MIDI blocks in DAW. I decided to keep the app basic but flexible, so it can grow with me as I continue to learn and improve. 😅
If you’re looking for an interesting way to explore music and create your own, Chordi can be a helpful companion on your journey!
